ABOUT
Our SMSF series is practical and and runs from 8.30am till 10.30am (with an extra 30 minutes till 11am for an open forum). The sessions will comprise of:

One-hour SMSF update.

In-depth one-hour SMSF topic.

30-minute open forum.
Topics to be covered:
Feb 25: Case studies – in this session we go through a range of practical issues raised through consulting.
May 19: Business clients and SMSFs – An SMSF is an essential part of many business structures – in this session, we go through specific issues relevant to the interaction between SMSFs and our business clients.
Aug 25: Superannuation and family law breakdowns – in this session we go through the key rules affecting clients dealing with separation of superannuation on marriage breakdown.
Nov 24: Key tax issues for SMSFs – the latest on ECPI, revisiting key deduction issues from the ATO's rewrite of TR93/17, tax planning for SMSFs.
PRESENTER DETAILS

Darren Wynen
Darren has been in the tax and accounting field for over 24 years and in the training arena for the last 18 years. Darren has presented for most of the professional associations over this time.
